Job Description
Due to continued growth in the Pilbara region, J & S is seeking an experienced qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. Being a Mechanical Maintenance, Service and Repair Workshop, we operate from an established workshop and provide customer Site Services.
J & S Truck and Machinery Repairs are located in Wedgefield and support a large range of Pilbara clients. Services include Mechanical, Auto Electrical, Air Conditioning, Boilermaking, Commercial & Inspection Station, assisting in our client's success. J & S has numerous established authorised Fleet Management relationships for Service and Repairs.
The LV Mechanic role will join a dedicated team, providing maintenance support to a range of customer owned vehicles, equipment, and trucks. Services provided by J & S include:
Truck Engine Repairs and Overhauls Truck Maintenance, Service & Repairs Trailer Repairs Fleet Maintenance Fabrication & Boilermaking Fuel Tanker Maintenance Roadworthy Inspections Light Vehicle Maintenance, Service & Repairs Commercial & HV Wheel Alignments Earthmoving equipment Service & Repairs Workshop based, Field Service and Labour Hire Air Conditioning Repairs Stockist of a wide range of Truck and Trailer parts SLP Inspections We look forward to speaking with applicants who have the relevant knowledge and experience. Essential Requirements: Australian Trade Qualified LV Mechanic Certificate Current Valid Driver's Licence Construction Card Extensive knowledge and experience conducting diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Police Clearance Highly Regarded: HR drivers licence Work Safely At Heights ticket Confined Space Forklift Elevated Work Platform licence Duties include, but are not limited to: Examine vehicles and diagnose to determine the extent of repairs, maintenance, or service to be performed Test drive vehicles and test components and systems using specialised testing equipment Repair, replace, and adjust worn or faulty parts as required Disassemble and reassemble engines, brakes, transmissions, or steering gear Follow a checklist to ensure all parts are examined and tested Tune engines using specialised equipment and make adjustments as required Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates Conditions: Competitive Hourly Rate J & S is looking forward to speaking with applicants who, through relevant industry and trade background, can be a positive addition to our team.
