Bridgestone Select, located in Cairns, is presently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced addition to our team.
We currently require the services of a qualified and capable Motor Mechanic to join our close-knit and friendly team of professionals.
The successful applicant will become an integral part of our team.
This position is full time.
To be successful for this position, it is essential that you have/are: A professional and reliable attitude.Great sense of humour.Knowledge and experience with a variety of makes and models of vehicles.Effective time management skills and able to prioritise multiple responsibilities.Able to work independently as well as a part of the overall team.The ability to comply with OH&S policies and procedures.Well presented, punctual and responsible.A keen eye for detail, pride in your individual work and possess knowledge of our business values.Good communication skills and a friendly disposition.Hold a Cert III (Motor Mechanic) Trade Qualification.A current Australian Drivers Licence.Currently residing in Queensland.Some of your daily duties within this role will include: General mechanical repairs.Diagnosis of engine management.Brakes and suspension on Passenger, Light Commercial and 4WD vehicles.Wheel aligning.As a valuable member of our team, we can offer you: Excellent working conditions amongst a friendly team environment.Long term security within a well-established and professional company.Existing clients and a large database of good customers.The opportunity to work for a company where your ideas and opinions will be appreciated in order to help grow and develop the business.Only applicants that are permanent residents of Australia will be considered for this position.
