Light Vehicle Mechanic

We are seeking a trade qualified and experienced light vehicle mechanic to join our friendly team.
Must have experience in logbook servicing, diagnostics and all aspects of repairs.
Must be able to work unsupervised and step up to additional duties.
You will be required full time Mon-Sat, 38 hours a week.
To be successful we require the following: Available to start ASAP and able to commit to the role once confirmedAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamCertificate 3 in Light or Heavy VehiclePrevious experienceCurrent manual drivers licenseMust speak English and have excellent communication skillsBe clean and tidy in work environmentBe motivated and be able to achieve targetsKey Responsibilities: Maintain all aspects of a vehicle to relevant transport legislation and standardsMaintain all aspects of equipmentPerform fault diagnostics to detect mechanical and electrical faultsTest drive and/or operate equipment to ensure repair has been completed correctlyEnsure all hand tools and equipment are safe to use and stored correctly in a clean conditionComplete all records and paperwork accurately as requiredCarry out regular service and maintenance requirements on all makes and modelsEnsure maintenance, servicing and repair requirements are met to ensure vehicles are up to roadworthy standardJob Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
