Light Vehicle Mechanic

We are seeking a trade qualified and experienced light vehicle mechanic to join our friendly team. Must have experience in logbook servicing, diagnostics and all aspects of repairs. Must be able to work unsupervised and step up to additional duties. You will be required full time Mon-Sat, 38 hours a week.
To be successful we require the following:
Available to start ASAP and able to commit to the role once confirmed Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Certificate 3 in Light or Heavy Vehicle Previous experience Current manual drivers license Must speak English and have excellent communication skills Be clean and tidy in work environment Be motivated and be able to achieve targets Key Responsibilities:
Maintain all aspects of a vehicle to relevant transport legislation and standards Maintain all aspects of equipment Perform fault diagnostics to detect mechanical and electrical faults Test drive and/or operate equipment to ensure repair has been completed correctly Ensure all hand tools and equipment are safe to use and stored correctly in a clean condition Complete all records and paperwork accurately as required Carry out regular service and maintenance requirements on all makes and models Ensure maintenance, servicing and repair requirements are met to ensure vehicles are up to roadworthy standard Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
