Are you ready to make a positive difference? Previous experience in the disability or aged care sectors is desirable; however, the right personality is equally important.
No experience is welcome, with the opportunity to complete a Cert 3 in Individual Support.
The successful applicant will have or be willing and able to obtain: Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtainCurrent NDIS Worker Screening check or willingness to obtainA current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtainDemonstrated reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitudeCompetent using technology - Smartphone and AppsAvailability to attend mandatory, paid training programsThe successful applicant must: Show initiative and compassion for the wider communityExhibit problem-solving abilities and follow policies and procedures at all timesDemonstrate an understanding of incident reporting, quality documentation, complaints handling, and restrictive practicesBe willing to work closely with families, advocates, professionals, volunteers, and therapy staffPossess a Queensland Driver's LicenceBe available and understanding of the Agency's 24/7 service delivery, which may include evenings, nights, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidaysIncentives - we have lots!
