About the Role As a Lifestyle Officer at Greenwell Gardens, you'll be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing programs and activities designed to enhance the well-being and quality of life of elderly residents.
This role involves creating engaging and meaningful activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of the residents while ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Your warm-hearted care will provide experiences that enhance our residents' wellbeing and overall quality of life and truly make a positive impact on their lives.
It really is an incredibly rewarding role and a lot of fun!

We are looking to appoint a Part Time employee with an opportunity to work 4 hours per week, every Saturday from 1pm to 5pm.

Your work may include:
Helping facilitate a range of engaging onsite activities such as bingo, floor bowls, craft and special events Helping to develop and plan a range of social, recreational and cultural activities Assisting residents on bus trips and community outings Supporting resident participation and offering warm companionship Ensuring residents' needs, values, spiritual values, and cultural preferences are taken into account To Be Successful You Will Have A Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or willing to obtain) Initiative and creative flair Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to work as part of a team and prioritise work The ability to put a smile on a residents face and brighten their day A big heart - you're empathetic and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible Knowledge of the needs of persons living with dementia (desirable) Benefits for You Competitive pay and more cash in your pocket (less tax) with not-for-profit salary packaging Flexible working conditions Birthday leave - relax and take a day off on us!
