Nazareth House provides excellence in person centred and clinical care, with respect and compassion for all - Aged Care from the heart.We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lifestyle and Wellbeing Assistant to join our friendly team on a Full Time basis.As the Wellbeing/Lifestyle Assistant, you will be assisting in the delivery of meaningful, person centred activities, enhancing the social, mental and physical wellbeing of our residents.What you will be doing: Implementing social calendars and wellbeing programsDelivering meaningful and person centred activitiesFacilitating exercises, events, games and other recreational activitiesEngaging with residents, family members and a skilled Care teamAbout You:Experience delivering Lifestyle programs and activitiesCertificates in Aged Care/Individual Support or Lifestyle/Leisure beneficialA fun and energetic personality with a passion for making a differenceStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalExperience in Horticulture, Art, Craft, Woodworking, Floristry, Jewellery making would be highly regardedNDIS Screening Check and NDIS Training Module (or willing to obtain)Experience working with residents living with Dementia advantageousWhat we can offer you:Continuing professional developmentNot for Profit Salary Packaging - up to $18,550 tax freeA family friendly organisation that values its employeesA friendly and supportive team environmentRewards Program, Retail Discounts and other benefitsNazareth Care prides itself on fostering an inclusive culture that cultivates respect of individual differences, embracing diversity.
