This is a full-time position based in Coffs Harbour Jetty, NSW 2450. You will be the key decision-maker, ensuring the hotel runs smoothly and profitably while maintaining high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.What you'll be doingManage and lead the hotel's staff, including recruitment, training, performance management and schedulingOversee the hotel's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting and cost controlEnsure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and licensing requirementsDevelop and implement marketing and sales strategies to attract new guests and retain existing onesMonitor and maintain high standards of service, cleanliness and guest experienceRepresent the hotel and liaise with local authorities, industry bodies and the communityContinuously seek opportunities to improve the hotel's operations and profitabilityWhat we're looking forExtensive experience (7+ years) in a similar Licensee or General Manager role within the hospitality industryA thorough understanding of hotel operations, including front office, food & beverage, housekeeping and maintenanceProven track record of leading and motivating a team to achieve business objectivesStrong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and cost controlExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholdersPassion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer serviceAdvanced Licensee qualificationNSW RSA & RCG/Advanced RCGQualifications in Hospitality Management or a related field would be highly regardedWhat we offerAt the Pier Hotel, we are the only family owned and operated hotel in the Coffs region.
