Licensed Aircraft EngineerAs a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary where you'll continue to deliver airworthy and serviceable aircraft to our customer in a fast-paced, challenging, and real-life operational setting critical to future defence output. We work on piston engine aircraft, with carbon fibre frames. Training can be provided for any gaps.
Day to day, you'll work together in collaboration with our customer to provide aircraft to be used in elementary flying training and air experience flights alongside auxiliary support services such as mechanical transport, air traffic control, and airfield fire and crash rescue.
Responsibilities: Responsible for the generation and release to service of serviceable and safe aircraft in accordance with civilian legislation/regulation and in line with company approvals.Ensure aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance, and all other engineering-related activities and services are provided as required to meet and exceed customer expectations and LAFT2 contractual needs at all times.This is a full-time role based onsite at RAF Woodvale; however, the company may, on occasion, ask you to deploy to other sites or support detachments at other operating locations.
Essential Experience: Supervisory Experience in aviation environment.Qualifications: Ideally have EASA Part 66, B1.2 licence (or successfully passed a number of modules towards the qualification).Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS security clearance for this role.
