LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY The College Library is a resource centre which serves approximately 700 students from Reception to Year 12. As a strategic leader, the Library Coordinator will provide up to date services and publications, to enhance and develop an innovative curriculum.
The Library Coordinator will support teachers in the delivery of best pedagogical practice in their learning area by providing relevant resources, support and guidance. They will work collaboratively with Learning Area Leaders and other key stakeholders at the College, to achieve common goals, objectives and outcomes, which support the College's Strategic Plan. Additionally, the Library Coordinator is responsible for the College's Co-Curricula debating program.
The Library Coordinator is accountable to the Director of Teaching & Learning who is responsible to the College Principal and keeps the College Principal informed of matters relating to teaching and learning.
This POR is a Band 2, Level 1 responsibility (i.e. POR1 role) with 23 lessons per fortnight release time and the allocated allowance in accordance with the South Australian Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2020. The person appointed to the role of Library Coordinator will hold a teaching degree.
This is a replacement appointment for Term 1, 2025 at 1.00 FTE.
