What You'll Do: In this pivotal role, you will:
Oversee and manage key operations across Auckland, based at our Mt Wellington head office, with regular travel to our Airport site. Build and develop a high-performing team that shares your passion for delivering a world-class operation. Lead with a safety-first mindset, fostering a culture of health, safety, and risk management at all levels. Drive operational excellence by upholding and exceeding operational standards. Be an active, can-do leader and approach challenges with energy and commitment, focusing on doing things right. What You Bring to the Role: We're looking for a leader with:
A strong hands-on operational experience in supply chain logistics. A proven track record of influencing, leading, and motivating teams to consistently deliver outstanding results. Experience working collaboratively with internal business stakeholders to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities, including new customer relationships and space utilisation. Strong understanding of 3PL/4PL logistics and warehouse management skills is essential. A bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) or equivalent experience would be advantageous. Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, set and achieve financial targets, and analyse operational initiatives. Strong commercial acumen, including excellent relationship management and contract negotiations. Expertise in maintaining and improving operational standards. Clear and effective verbal and written communication, essential for success in this role. The ability to manage multiple competing priorities with professionalism and efficiency.
