Senior Family Violence LGBTQIA+ Practitioner - Inner North Salary - $106,000 - $111,000 (depending on experience) + super + salary packaging Benefits: Work with women and trans gender diverse people to provide therapeutic, family violence supports Access to salary packaging benefits Continued career growth and development Opportunity to utilise your skills to support and mentor other members of the team Why work with Client Organisation: Our client organisation is an inclusive, leading NFP providing a range of services to people in the LGBTQIA+ community, including case management, brokerage, and counselling About the Role: We are recruiting an experience Team Leader to lead a team of 4 in an LGBTQIA+ Family Violence response program.
You will work alongside the Family Violence Manager, responsible for leading practice across the Family Violence programs and supporting individual staff to reach their full potential.
This role will oversee the provision of group based and individual support to women and trans and gender diverse people who use harm in relationships.
Key Duties: Provide queer sensitive and affirmative services to LGBTIQA+ people, women, trans, and gender diverse people who have enacted family violence and victims of family and intimate partner violence.
Develop and facilitate group interventions relating to LGBTIQA+ family and intimate partner violence and mental health and well-being for the diverse range of LGBTIQA+ people and their families Contribute to Operational Planning to assist in achieving individual, team and organisational program outcomes, targets and KPIs.
Regularly monitor teams data provided by our Client Record Management System and other sources, ensuring service targets are met and service quality is maintained.
Monitor client feedback and respond to issues, including complaints from clients in accordance with DS policy and procedures.
Skills and Experience: Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or related field Minimum 3 years' experience working in a Thearpeutic OR Family Violence Program Advanced understanding of therapeutic family violence theoretical frameworks and interventions Comprehensive MARAM training and expertise utilising this with victim survivors and people who use violence Identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community OR have experience working with LGBTQIA+ client groups How to apply: Click 'Apply Now' and upload your CV via the appropriate link.
