We're looking for a lending service professional to join our fast-paced Lending team.
As a Lending Solutions Specialist, you'll ensure the smooth and swift progress of loan applications by obtaining relevant documentation and ensuring our credit policy has been applied.
This role supports our members, mobile and personal lenders by managing the application once submitted until it is approved and funded.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Ensuring all aspects of the lending application are completed from end to end, including ordering valuations, validating and verifying information provided, reviewing and inputting security details, all aligning to RACQ Bank's credit quality and compliance standards.Assessing, recommending, processing loan applications, and referring decisions as required.Maintaining a thorough understanding of RACQ Bank's lending products, securities, systems, policies, and procedures, and applying this knowledge to process fully and confidently.Committing to a high quality of loan submission, with a strong emphasis on first-time right.Resolving member concerns as a first point of contact and escalating where appropriate.Rate of pay at commencement is $37.59 + super.About you You'll be a sharp and experienced lending professional, keen to join the team with like-minded individuals that are detail-focused, excellent communicators, analytical, and committed to quality.
As an ideal candidate, you'll have the following:
Tier II accreditation, or willingness to obtain.Knowledge of the features and benefits of bank products and services with expertise in unsecured and mortgage lending and consumer credit insurance.Demonstrates a strong ability to understand, interpret, and analyze numerical data and statistical information with the aptitude to recognize discrepancies.A strong attention to detail to ensure the accurate verification of loan information.Excellent communication skills to be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, managers, and our members.Strong organizational skills to manage a large volume of loan documentation, and to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.An understanding of compliance and governance issues pertaining to the role (e.g., NCCP, Privacy Act, Trade Practices Act, Credit Risk Review compliance standards).Why join RACQ?
