We currently have a permanent, full time Lending Administration Consultant positions available to join our Lending Service Team. The Lending Administration Consultant is responsible for applying Bank Australia credit standards to mortgage discharges, loan variations and construction payments, whilst meeting department service level agreements.

What you will be doing
Ensure all mortgage discharge, loan variation and construction payment requests are actioned in line with Bank Australia policy and procedure Approve variations to a limit in accordance with board policy and loan delegation conditions Process verification checks for credit applications in accordance with Bank Australia Lending policies and guidelines Regularly review loan procedures and policy, recommending areas for improvement Process requests for the TPD Lending team (broker introduced lending), internal branches/departments and assist with commercial loan assessments or reviews Process inbound lending enquiries (via phone and email) for the bank's customers and/or broker network. What you will bring
Lending experience highly desirable Knowledge of lending legislation (e.g. National Credit Act and Privacy Act) Effective decision making and analytical skills Ability to investigate and follow up queries to a satisfactory resolution Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Excellent customer service skills and empathy to the customers' financial situation Excellent communication skills, written and verbal and interpersonal Computer skills and ability Commitment to Bank Australia's purpose, aspiration, values and brand as well as the B Corp ethos.
