Byron Aged Care (BAC) is a boutique 41 bed aged care facility located in the heart of beautiful Byron Bay, caring for residents in a homelike setting on 1 acre of grounds within walking distance to the beach.
Local residents have come to appreciate Byron Aged Care as the specialist dementia nursing home within the northern rivers district NSW.
We are looking for a Full Time Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator with experience to carry out our lifestyle and recreation program.
This position will be Monday - Friday (35 hours per week).
Your key focus will be to carry out tailored 1:1 and group lifestyle recreational activities including outings & excursions by considering client needs, dignity and risk.
Programs are designed in collaboration with our residents and their support network as well as management, the allied health and care team to meet resident needs and wants.
