In this role you will promote fun leisure activities that will engage resident participation. Bring your innovative, creative leadership style to develop exciting recreational activities that both stimulate and provide entertainment for all residents. You will help them celebrate life with community-based fun and social activities and bring them a sense of belonging in so doing. With our high standards in clinical and compassionate care, you will have the space to innovate and excel, doing work you are proud of.

The requirements | What it takes to do this work
No matter your role, it takes a real love of caring, a willingness to jump in and do the work, and a genuine desire to make a difference. As a Leisure & Entertainment Team Leader, you'll also need:
A Certificate IV in Leisure and HealthAble to create and develop activities and programmesEngage with your team, communicating with them, empowering them, challenging them and giving them opportunities to growStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExperience in the Leisure & Entertainment space desired but not essentialAn empathy for older people and commitment to meeting their needsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsThe locations | A home to belong to Warrigal Mount Terry, Illawarra
