What our carers love about working here
Unexpected opportunities to grow:
You'll find ongoing training and support that allows you bigger responsibilities, more senior roles, and potential pay increases.
Our preference is to promote from within, so there are opportunities to specialise, become an RN, or move into a non-clinical management role.
We offer carer roles across our home, residential, and lifestyle services, giving you variety beyond the expected.
Better life balance:
We respect your life outside of your job, and work with you to design schedules that help you plan your study, family, and personal commitments around better, steadier rosters.
One team, united in our purpose:
We support older people to have great lives.
We put older people first in everything we do.
On an everyday level, we help them age with dignity, independence, happiness, and connectedness.
On a big picture level, we're challenging ageist thinking in Australia.
This is the Warrigal Way.
Create a meaningful legacy:
At Warrigal, you're not just doing care work.
You're shaping a society that respects and celebrates ageing, connects families, and frees up their time to create treasured, lasting memories.
You're creating a culture of kindness, compassion, and understanding, that can be passed down to future generations.
Let this be your legacy.

Who we are | A community who cares:
Warrigal has firmly established itself in the aged care community for over 60 years.
Despite the diverse range of retirement living and aged care services we've built up in that time, we still have the same appetite to grow and innovate.
Meaning, you'll have the chance to move around, get promoted, or explore different areas across our expanding business in Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Queanbeyan, and Canberra – if that's what you want.
