About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Leichhardt branch. This pivotal role requires a strong leader to drive sales growth, manage day-to-day operations, and create a customer-centric environment. You will play a critical role in fostering a high-performing team while ensuring operational excellence and meeting sales targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesBranch Leadership: Take ownership of the overall performance of the Leichhardt branch, leading operations to exceed sales targets and drive profitability.Sales & Customer Relationships: Develop and execute strategies to grow trade sales, enhance customer relationships, and deliver exceptional service. Instill a customer-first approach, ensuring that every interaction is honest and transparent.Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of truck drivers and trade sales specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. Oversee staffing and scheduling to meet customer demands and branch goals.Inventory & Stock Management: Coordinate stock transfers from our central distribution center, manage inventory, and ensure efficient stock flow through regular stock takes and robust management practices.Operational Excellence: Drive process improvements, streamline workflows, and make informed decisions to enhance the branch's efficiency and operational effectiveness.Communication & Collaboration: Maintain open, honest, and transparent communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring all interactions are based on trust and credibility.RequirementsTo excel in this role, you'll need:
Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience, preferably in a trade sales or retail environment.Sales & Customer Management: Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets while building strong customer relationships.Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.Inventory & ERP Systems: Experience managing stock transfers and inventory, with familiarity using ERP systems such as Business Central.Problem-Solving: Ability to make informed decisions under pressure, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.BenefitsWhat we offer you:
