Support the General Counsel and Legal team through a range of administrative tasks.

About the role Support the General Counsel and Legal team through a range of administrative tasks including matter management and allocation, document preparation and management, meeting coordination and collating information for reports and other correspondence. This role also has a key responsibility in overseeing the progress of internal projects and being an advocate for legal compliance.
What you'll do Managing internal service desk and assisting Legal team in allocating new matters Format, draft, amend and prepare general day to day correspondence Document management, including maintaining company contract registers and confidential documentation Diary management and meeting coordination for the General Counsel & Legal Counsel Collate information for reports and other correspondence Word processing, data entry and filing with high attention to detail Coordinate, prepare and follow-up of responses to correspondence Ensure information needed for meetings prepared well in advance Credit card reconciliation processed on time and accurately About you TAFE Diploma/Certificate or equivalent in an Administration related discipline or at least 3 - 5 years in an administrative role or similar Experience in supporting a legal or other corporate services function (corporate or law firm experience would be desirable but not essential) Ability to use initiative, adaptability, flexibility and be able to work collaboratively is essential Experience working for multiple managers Advanced Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience preparing collating information, preparing correspondence and reports and taking minutes Experience formatting business documents and presentations Culture & Benefits Standards Australia is proud to have been awarded the prestigious Employer of Choice Award for two consecutive years, 2023 and 2024.
