Legal Secretary/Paralegal

We are a well-established (1977) boutique legal practice based in the Maitland, CBD. We have a general legal practice, focusing on Conveyancing, Commercial Law, Estates and Wills, and Elder Law.
About the role: Permanent part-time Legal Secretary/Paralegal for work commencement in early/mid-January 2025.Hours worked will be a minimum of 22 hours per week, between Tuesday and Friday, but will also require full-time (5 days per week) covering for holiday/sick leave. Hours worked may be extended depending on workload.Some flexibility available.Principally managing Conveyancing of Real Estate and Commercial Leasing.Will also include Sale and Purchase of Businesses, Retirement Village Contracts, and preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney.Self-drafting of correspondence.Involvement in Estate matters, as may be required.About you: A minimum of 3 years experience in a legal secretary/paralegal role.Proficient with PEXA.Preferable that you are appointed as a Justice of the Peace.Ability to work in a small team, requiring multi-tasking and multi-skilling.Ability to work independently, show initiative, be a hard worker and be prepared to be busy and flexible.Hold a current Driver Licence.Exceptional "people" skills.Manage and organise time and clients matters.Have a great sense of humour.Enjoy challenges.Please submit your Resume with a cover letter and references to ******
