Our client is a leading international law firm on the hunt for a Legal Secretary to join their high-performing team in Sydney CBD.
Ideally you will have experience in litigation and/or insurance and will be responsible for preparing claims, liaising with clients, courts and authorities, client billing and related business development activities.
It's a globally expanding firm with a fantastic reputation in the insurance sector and a very strong PA community here in Sydney.

What you'll do: As a Legal Secretary, you'll play a pivotal role involving various aspects of legal secretarial services.
Take charge of documentation including producing a variety of documents and court forms from dictation and handwritten/typewritten draftsSupport in handling litigation, including completing documentation in relation to the preparation of claims and litigation as directed by the lawyersMaintain files in line with the firm's Quality Management proceduresManage email/inbox screening and electronic filing of emailsCraft accurate and timely correspondence and legal documents from dictation, handwritten, typewritten drafts or notesEngage with third parties, courts and counsel including preparing, filing and managing documents for courts, tribunals and other administrative bodiesOversee billing cycle from generation of invoices through to assisting the Credit Controller follow up with clients to ensure satisfactory payment of accounts What you bring: The perfect candidate for this Legal Secretary position brings along experience from a similar role.
Your background in litigation, client billing and client services will be highly appreciated.
Your capability to manage all correspondence and transcribe dictation will be vital for this role.
Proficiency in Office applications such as Word for drafting correspondence and pleadings, as well as PowerPoint for presentations is required.
Proven experience in a similar Legal Secretary role is essentialExperience with litigation, client billing and client services is desired not necessaryCapability to manage all correspondence and transcribe dictationProficient in Office, including drafting correspondence and pleadings in Word and presentations in PowerPointAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
