Legal Secretary

We are looking for a practice assistant (legal secretary) to join our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. You will provide administrative support to a partner and the lawyers within the team. Your day will involve:
Diary Management.Preparation of monthly billing.File and document management including file opening, file closing and conflict checks.Prior experience in e-filing processes.Liaising with clients by phone and email in a professional manner.Preparation of correspondence and documents including engagement letters.Completing monthly reconciliation of credit card expenses.Organising travel, flights and accommodation.Liaise with external suppliers.Skills & Experience The successful candidate will be an experienced practice assistant (legal secretary) with the following skills and experience:
A minimum of 3 years experience as a legal assistant in commercial litigation and dispute resolution practice.Strong communication skills.Ability to work to strict deadlines.Strong organisational skills and time management skills.Strong attention to detail and professional presentation.Experience in using document management system.Knowledge of LawMaster or similar accounting package.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Friendly and positive attitude.Law Students will not be considered for this position.
