Legal Secretary

This is an exciting opportunity for a job-seeker to join a busy inner-city criminal law firm.
We are seeking a vibrant and hard-working person to join our team in a receptionist/PA role on a full-time basis.
Primary Responsibilities Communicate with clients by telephone and in the officeOpen files, maintain files, and archive files once completedUndertake typing and word processing of documentsPrepare and compile briefs for counselPrepare and register outgoing and incoming mailRender receipts and invoicesUndertake town work including filing and serving of documentsBe familiar, or quickly become familiar with, the LEAP document management system and Legal Aid grants onlineOur firm represents a wide variety of people from different backgrounds.
A high level of interpersonal and communication skills is critical.
The role will also require a high proficiency in technology and the use of word processing programs.
Some experience in an office environment or customer service background would also be highly beneficial.
