About the role An exciting entry-level career opportunity has arisen in our Newcastle office for a full-time Legal Office Junior to join our CTP personal injury insurance team.
This role is ideal for those looking to start a career in legal administration and gain valuable, hands-on experience in a supportive environment.

You will have a varied workload, including: Providing entry level administrative support to a team of legal and support staff Assisting with document preparation for legal matters under supervision Relief reception duties Preparing external electronic mail Collating letters, letters of instructions to doctors and experts, briefs to counsel and forms General duties such as scanning, electronic filing and electronic file sorting You will receive one-on-one training and be mentored by experienced legal secretaries to help you develop your skills and gain confidence in your role.
About you You are enthusiastic about starting a career in legal administration and eager to develop your skills within a team-oriented environment.
You will have: A desire to work towards a long-term career in legal administration Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to demonstrate initiative Enthusiasm and a willingness to work collaboratively or independently Highly developed communication skills Previous office-based work experience and/or a TAFE certificate in Business & Administration/Business & Legal is highly desirable, but a proactive and willing attitude is most important.
This role is particularly suitable for recent high school or TAFE graduates looking for their first step into the professional world.
It is not suitable for law students balancing study commitments, as the role requires full-time availability and a goal of a long term career in administration.
