Costa also has international farming operations in China and Morocco and licenses its world leading blueberry genetics in a number of regions including the Americas, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Poised for significant growth over the next few years, Costa Group are keen to secure a strong corporate/commercial candidate for its legal team. Reporting to the company's Senior Legal Counsel and working closely with other members of the legal team including an experienced General Counsel and Company Secretary, the primary focus of the role is to provide commercially focused legal advice to the business to enable it to achieve its objectives. This work includes: assisting on acquisitions and divestments; contract drafting and negotiation; assisting with company secretarial work; managing disputes; risk/governance issues; as well as other general commercial matters.

The ideal candidate offers quality post qualification experience of 3 to 5 years corporate/commercial experience, preferably gained in a well regarded firm. This experience will involve strong contract drafting and negotiation skills and well developed communication skills. Previous in-house experience is beneficial but not essential.

You are naturally curious, self motivated, intuitive, responsive, have the ability to develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the business, and are able to provide commercially astute and pragmatic advice.
