The RoleAn opportunity exists to join the Infinite Care team as a full time Legal Counsel in our Corporate head office located at Bundall, Gold Coast. Reporting directly to the Chief Legal & Commercial Officer, you will join a highly respected and dynamic legal team which will be a perfect opportunity for a self-motivated and dynamic individual who is looking to grow with us, develop their career, and who can juggle multiple competing & time sensitive demands.Key ResponsibilitiesUnder the support and guidance of the Chief Legal & Commercial Officer you will be exposed and deliver a range of legal areas including:Reviewing, negotiating and drafting a range of commercial and legal documentsProviding assistance with mergers and acquisitions, development and construction of new facilitiesSector compliance matters & responses to regulatory bodiesEmployment law matters & support with policy advisoryHighly visible role to senior leaders and be engaged on a vast array of legal matters (*you won't be bored)Provide ad hoc legal advice through research and consultation to support the Infinite Care GroupAnalyse and identify legal risks and implicationsCoordinate and liaise with external legal advisors and consultants and complete associated activities.Keep abreast of all new laws and regulations that may have implications to the GroupWork to resolve complex matters with support from the Chief Legal & Commercial OfficerAbout You!Demonstrated 4-6 years post admission experienceQualified to practice law in Queensland with relevant law experience gained from a reputable law firm or in-house legal departmentAbility to establish, maintain and enhance positive internal and external stakeholder relationships.Strong commercial acumen and ability to produce quality work output within quick turnaround times.Strong time management and organisation skills with ability to multi-taskA positive attitude and good sense of humour is a must!Proven knowledge of legal concepts and their application to achieve effective business outcomesEffectively and professionally communicate both verbally and in written formatStrong attention to detail, documentation, drafting skills and timely communication is essentialExcellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.Benefits - Why work for us?Fitness Passport to access discounted health and wellbeing sessions on us!Career growth opportunities within a strong mentoring team culture.Access to in-house and online professional development programs - FREE to all employees.Supportive, positive team environment with a strong caring work ethic.Companywide safety-first workplaces for our residents, families and staff.Positive wellbeing, fun and engaging team / shift activities.Access to family friendly benefits like our EAP and Flare (employee discounts)
