Job Description Legal Counsel: Energy & Resources What's in it for you?
Excellent remuneration commensurate with experience Work closely with very experienced Chief Legal Officer WFH available About your new employer: Our client is a reputable publicly listed organisation in the energy & resources space operating across Australia and overseas.
About the role: Supporting and leading transactions, corporate and commercial matters, acquisition onboarding, regulatory and governance matters.
Advising on and negotiating some or all of construction, property, grid connection, operations and maintenance and/or financing or tax documents.
Liaising with and coordinating the work of external lawyers.
The ideal candidate: 4-7 years PQE.
Contract drafting experience essential; experience in negotiating corporate/commercial agreements.
Experience in at least one of corporate law and procedures, M+A, projects and/or financing.
Previous training or experience in working in a cross-cultural environment will be considered favourably, as will experience in the energy sector.
