Legal Counsel - Disputes

You will be joining a market-leading Australian financial services company as a Legal Counsel working on complex and major disputes within an established and high-performing legal team based in Sydney.

About the Role Responsibilities include:
Provide strategic legal advice on significant claims, disputes, and litigation, managing all legal aspects to align with business goals.Build strong partnerships with senior stakeholders, delivering commercially-focused legal services that support their strategic priorities.Oversee and coordinate external counsel, ensuring effective litigation and dispute management.Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the legal team while upholding strong governance and risk management.Adhere to professional standards, ensuring legal services are objective, diligent, and compliant with applicable conduct rules.About You You have:
2-5 PQE with relevant qualifications and current practising certificate.Experience within a recognised law firm.Experience with disputes and large scale litigation.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
