About the Role Responsibilities include:
Join a dedicated regulatory investigations and disputes team, providing strategic, commercially-focused legal advice on the bank's responses to regulatory inquiries.Support the team in managing regulatory investigations, utilizing a solution-oriented approach to minimize legal risks across various business units.Collaborate closely with Compliance, Risk, and other legal departments to ensure cohesive, seamless legal support within the bank.Engage and oversee external counsel as necessary, fostering effective partnerships to optimize legal outcomes.Embrace a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth, contributing to a collaborative, client-focused team environment.About You You have:
Between 3-5 PQE with relevant legal qualifications and current practising certificate.Strong experience within a reputable law firm.Experience with dispute resolution and commercial litigation is required.Experience with regulatory investigations is highly regarded.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
