Legal Counsel - Corporate M&A - Top ASX Listed, Property & FundsWe are looking for a Legal / Senior Legal Corporate Lawyer to join one of Australia's leading, top ASX listed, property investment and funds management organisations. With a dynamic legal team, this leading, Australian, fully integrated property group promotes professional growth and career development.This role will report directly into the General Counsel & Company Secretary and provides expert legal advice and solutions in a commercial context.The successful candidate will have strong legal experience in Corporate M&A, transaction and/or funds management. We are looking for ambitious, bright lawyers with strong law firm backgrounds who are looking to develop their in-house legal careers.Key responsibilities:Oversee the negotiation and execution of all legal documentation relevant to the business, including in relation to acquisitions, commercial agreements, corporate transactions and the establishment of new funds.Management of litigation.Establishment of new entities.Liaise with external legal specialists to obtain additional legal advice where necessary.Assist in reviewing/approving fundraising disclosure documentation.Monitor legislative/general law developments and ensure that internal clients as necessary are kept informed of current, new or proposed legislation that affect business activities.Experience and Qualifications:Degree Qualified (LLB) with a current practicing certificate.2+ years post-qualified experience from a top-tier law firm and/or in-house experience.Legal experience/rotations in corporate, funds and/or property (or the REIT sector) highly regarded.Highly polished communication skills, both verbally and in written form.Enjoys collaborating with others.Takes a strategic perspective in their work, focuses on the long-term view.Working effectively with the legal group or those outside formal line of authority to accomplish organisational goals.Please send your resume in confidence to Aislyn Jennings, Executive Search Partner, at ****** or call for a confidential discussion 0432000919.Greenfields will only accept documents in MS Word or PDF format.
