As a group, we strive to be more, do more, and work to ensure every client achieves outcomes that are greater than they expected.About The Role:We are looking for an experienced full-time Legal Assistant primarily supporting a Partner and Senior Associate in the Group who have a heavy practice in complex and contentious estate administration and estate litigation.From time to time you will also be required to assist others in the Group.Responsibilities will include all usual legal assistant duties including:Opening/closing filesDictationCompiling mailManaging calendarsSafe custodyFile managementMonthly billingAssistance with precedent managementDrafting documents such as Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, applications for probate, court documentation (applications, affidavits and the like), and Titles Office formsCompilation of briefs and court documents (including affidavits with substantive exhibits)This is a busy role that requires proven skills in managing a heavy workload.You must be able to prioritise workflow.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Our Offer:Attractive salary and benefitsHealth and fitness eventsSocial activitiesEvery one of our staff has their birthday off each yearChristmas Week and choice of giftAt least two years' experience as a Legal Assistant/SecretaryAn accurate typing speed of at least 65wpmExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to prioritise a large workload with attention to detailWillingness to learn and ability to demonstrate initiativeDesired Skills:Experience in Wills and Estates areaActionStep, iManage Work and LawdocsOur Culture:At Mullins, we like to push the boundaries of what a law firm is supposed to be.
