Key ResponsibilitiesSafeguarding:You will be one of a small team of Legal Assistants supporting our passionate Safeguarding Team, reporting to the Head of Safeguarding.
You will deal with some routine matters as well as assisting with fast paced ad-hoc queries and support.
Your support work will include preparation of bundles and drafting applications, consent orders and other documents within care proceedings.
Litigation:You will be one of two Legal Assistants supporting a very busy Litigation Team, reporting to the Head of Litigation.
Your support work will include assisting in a variety of civil litigation matters which are dealt with by the team including possession proceedings, disrepair, judicial review claims, parking enforcement, breaches of lease terms and anti social behaviour matters.
Your role will include assisting in the preparation and presenting of applications for gas access warrants in the Magistrates Court, preparation of bundles, drafting applications and other documentation.
Additional Requirements: Experience of the processing of fee notes and dealing with chambers will be an advantage.You will be able to work flexibly and at pace.You will have passed the Legal Practice Course.If this sounds good to you, please apply for further information or call us directly.
