We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail oriented Legal Assistant to join our Engineering practice team at Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick (POF).
In this role, you will provide crucial administrative assistance to principals and attorneys, to help manage their practice and provide them with high-quality support to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Reporting to the Principals and working alongside three other assistants in the Engineering team, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Managing workflows through our document management system.Preparing and viewing correspondence with clients.Maintaining well-organised and timely file-management.Coordination of monthly billing processes.Ad-hoc administrative tasks as well as providing administrative assistance to other practice teams when required.About you You are experienced administrator with an adaptable mindset who is willing to learn and has a keen eye for detail. You will also possess the following:
Exceptional organisation skills.Technical proficiency with various IT applications and MS office.Ability to multi-task efficiently and collaborate across different practice teams.Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal.Previous experience in IP is valued but not essential.About us Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick (POF) is a privately owned patent and trademark attorney firm with 100+ people across offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.
