About the Role This is a legal assistant role in our Recoveries team that can be based in our Melbourne or Sydney office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparing correspondence and legal documents including amendments/word processingPreparing briefs to counselOpening and closing filesAssisting with the preparation of presentations for business development initiativesAttending on billing including generating draft bills, billing edits and finalisationArranging appointments (matter related and general)Reconciling expensesLiaising with courts, tribunals, government provider, service providers and third-party providersMonitoring matter workflow and diarising key eventsAssisting with client reportingAbout You You will have a minimum of 4 years' previous experience in a legal administration role with skills in the MS suite. You are well known for your professional composure with the ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion and integrity. You will also have strong client service orientation, excellent time management skills, take pride in your work and be a team player.
