Legal Assistant

Campolo, Middleton & McCormick is seeking a Legal Assistant for a full-time role at our Ronkonkoma headquarters.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and make an impact at a fast-paced firm recognized by Forbes as a Top Corporate Law Firm.Duties & ResponsibilitiesWork with and assist attorneys on a variety of litigation mattersMake corrections to documents, proofread/format, collate, and organize documents/filesDocket and calendar various attorney and Court appearances and deadlinesPreparation of court and client documents including exhibits, bookmarking, OCRing, and Bates stampingE-filingProcess medical record authorizations and manage process to obtain medical recordsDocument management including scanning, printing, binding, and copyingOther administrative tasks as assignedQualificationsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe ProExcellent oral and written communication skills.
