HarperLloyd Recruitment is a legal specialist recruitment firm working with private practice firms, and we are looking for an intermediate/senior level Legal Assistant to join our client, who is a mid-tier national firm. This role will work on a variety of corporate and commercial matters, and will see you support a Partner.
This practice group, which predominantly focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, general corporate and commercial matters, will work with federal government clients. Therefore, the incoming individual will need to be an Australian Citizen, and the offer of employment will be subject to relevant federal police checks and suitability to obtain an Australian security clearance.
You can expect to complete the following duties in your day:
Diary, email and travel management;Opening and closing files;Monthly billing;Drafting correspondence and documents;Brief preparation;General PA support to your team.The assistants we have placed in this firm have noted the following things they enjoy about working here:

You have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally from a commercial-based law firm.Law students who can work full-time are encouraged to apply.
