Based in the heart of Newstead, we are currently recruiting a legal assistant to provide support to 1 director and 3 lawyers within the commercial team.
Our client is open to considering any legal background as long as your tenure is stable and you have a solid background in legal support.
Role Overview:Drafting and revising legal correspondencePreparing briefsInitiating new matters | file opening | file closingServing as the primary point of contact for client interactionsMaintaining and updating electronic filing systemsManaging diaries and calendarsArranging travel and accommodationHandling monthly reporting and billingsMonitoring emails and phone calls on behalf of the teamClosing and archiving finalized mattersReviewing and distributing legal documents for signing by all partiesRequired Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a Legal Secretary in a reputable firm.Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite, coupled with exceptional typing speed and accuracy.Meticulous attention to detail.A proactive team player who thrives on fostering strong relationships with colleagues.Additional Details:Salary range: 80-90K base plus super.Working hours: 8.30-5pm.1 day WFH.Opportunity to join an award-winning firm with a great reputation.Varied responsibilities ensuring a stimulating and fulfilling role.50% car park subsidy on offer should you require to drive to work, although there is adequate public transport and a train station close by - Bowen Hills or Fortitude Valley.Application Process:Interested candidates are invited to send their resumes to ******.
