This is a fantastic opportunity to hit the ground running and be part of a friendly, fast-paced team.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Telephone handling for the team.Preparation of monthly billing.Managing client file maintenance for the team.Coordinating outgoing mail.Assisting Partner with general practice management.Maintaining Partner/lawyers' contacts in our firm CRM InterAction, including assisting with list management on their behalf for events and communications.Drafting of documentation as required.Other ad-hoc administration duties as required.About you:We would like to hear from candidates with the following skills and experience:A minimum of one year of legal assistant experience in an insurance practice.Experience in private practice is desirable.We will also consider applications from law students who are studying part-time and are able to commit to a full-time position.Highly organised.A team player.Excellent communication skills.Experience in using legal billing system and client management program (e.g. Aderant would be desirable but not required).Experience in using document management system (e.g. iManage10 would be desirable but not required).About us:Hall & Wilcox is a leading independent Australian law firm.
