The Role: As a Legal Assistant, you will provide essential support to three busy partners and additional team members as needed. Key responsibilities include: Proactive diary and calendar management, including complex scheduling for partners who frequently travel and attend events. Organising meetings, travel arrangements, and event planning, particularly for large industry and client-facing events. Managing billing processes, including financial reporting, WIPs, and assisting with narratives for client bills. Assisting with the preparation of documents, presentations, and other materials for internal and external meetings. Supporting team-wide initiatives, including helping organise major events like the Sydney Client Dinner and other M&A sector activities. Handling day-to-day administrative tasks such as email management, document filing, and processing expense claims. The Applicant: The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 3+ years of Legal Assistant experience (or an exceptional candidate with 2+ years in a similar role). Strong experience in complex billing, diary management, and organising partner travel. Previous experience supporting 2+ partners in a busy legal environment. Impeccable attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and tasks. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude. Event planning experience and the ability to assist with high-profile client events. The ability to anticipate partner needs and manage a dynamic, fast-paced workload.
