Why Your Role Matters:
The School of Science is one of five Schools at UNSW Canberra and consists of six disciplines: Aviation, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, and Oceanography. As a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer, you will showcase your knowledge and experience in quantum physics in a dynamic role blending research and education, where you'll contribute to course and curriculum delivery and cultivate a vibrant research portfolio.
Responsibilities:
As a key player, you'll craft publications, guide students, drive grant applications, and contribute to the administration of the school. Embracing opportunities to make meaningful contributions in both academia and research, fuelling a passion for learning and innovation.
This role will be filled at either a Level B or Level C.
Who You Are (skills and experience):
Our ideal candidate will have:
A PhD in experimental condensed matter physics or a related discipline. Expertise in cryogenic techniques and in performing measurements at low temperatures. Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments. Capability to contribute to and build on the School's research and teaching. Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches, development and delivery of courses and programs, at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level. Experience of implementing educational technologies and online delivery methods. Benefits and Culture:
