An exciting opportunity exists for a Lecturer to play a significant role at a vibrant institution and be part of a dynamic team with a passion for teaching, research, and community engagement, contributing to the overall output of excellence in Teaching and Research in the School of Civil and Mechanical Engineering.
The successful candidate will be a passionate educator who will supervise honours projects as well as higher degree research students.
Candidates will have the ability to develop and deliver curriculum in the rapidly growing undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degrees and undertake research in Mechanical Engineering.
Analytical skills and experience in engineering design and nonlinear dynamics will be highly regarded.
The position will involve engaging with students, collaborators, industry partners, and developing funding proposals for research.
The position is located on the Bentley Campus of Curtin University but may involve collaborations with Curtin campuses in Malaysia and Dubai or education partners in Sri Lanka.
Candidates must be Permanent Residents or Citizens of Australia to be considered for this role.
