About the Role As a Lecturer in Justice & Legal with TAFE SA , you'll bring your extensive industry knowledge and educational expertise to facilitate engaging, practical, and relevant learning experiences for students. Lecturers in this role will work directly in the industry, facilitating training in Public Sector qualifications to ensure students gain real-world, applicable skills. Your role will also involve designing, delivering, and assessing training programs aligned with Public Sector Training Package qualifications, covering training needs analysis, course design, and a range of delivery methods including face-to-face, e-learning, and blended approaches. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate industry-based training and assessments in Public Sector qualifications. Design, develop, and evaluate educational content, adapting to industry and learner needs. Deliver training and assessments that meet Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) standards. Employ flexible delivery methods, utilizing platforms such as Blackboard Collaborate, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suite. Contribute to assessment validation and moderation processes per the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTO) 2015. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational practices through digital technologies and collaborative strategies. What we are looking for: Industry Experience : Proven experience in public sector training and expert understanding of the Justice & Legal industry. Educational Expertise : Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent qualification, with demonstrated knowledge of assessment and delivery methodologies. Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and Adobe Suite, as well as experience with Learning Management Systems. Innovative Teaching Approaches : Ability to engage diverse learners using contemporary, inclusive teaching methodologies and digital tools. Special Conditions The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS). Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential. Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required. May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA. A flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential.
