About Us The School of Veterinary Medicine is responsible for the training of veterinary science graduates and the degree program has received international accreditation.
A central part of the training is exposure to research as an avenue to the development of critical problem-solving skills.
Research and teaching academic staff contribute to this mission by making their research part of the classroom experience and incorporating the student experience into their research projects.
All of this contributes to a richer and more rewarding student experience.
The Role As a lecturer, you will play a key role in advancing scholarly research and professional practice in your field.
This position involves contributing to the Discipline's teaching efforts through the preparation and delivery of lectures, tutorials, and various other teaching activities, while also supervising honours and postgraduate students.
What you'll bring to this role A Veterinary degree Enrolment in or completion of a level 10 degree (Professional Doctorate or Ph D) in wildlife health Demonstrated experience in teaching and/or research in the fields of wildlife, zoological and conservation medicine Demonstrated ability to engage in high quality independent research Applicants should refer to the Position Description for further details on the work requirements, duties, skills and experience required for this role.
