Salary Package: Lecturer (Level B) from $119,840 to $141,790 p.a., plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading

The School of Psychological Sciences is seeking a suitably qualified academic to be actively involved in the development, curriculum design, teaching, and delivery of units in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Psychology Courses within the School, as well as engaging in research including supervision.
About You You will have tertiary and professional qualifications in psychology, and the capacity to design, deliver units and programs at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will also have a strong track record in research (relative to opportunity) including research supervision. Additionally, you will possess a willingness to embrace educational technology, blended learning and educational innovation.
Essential Criteria for Level B (Lecturer) A PhD or equivalent tertiary qualifications in Psychology.Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (or eligible for registration).Exceptional teaching skills and demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality learning and teaching, including the design, delivery, and management of online and face-to-face content, lectures, tutorials, and assessments, with evidence of excellent student outcomes and reflective practice.Demonstrated experience in teaching in accredited psychology undergraduate courses including on topics such as health psychology, development, social and personality psychology, and intercultural psychology. Applicants will be required to be capable of teaching across several of these topic areas.Demonstrated experience in teaching evidence-based assessment and cognitive-behavioural therapeutic approaches and counselling skills across the lifespan, including working with both children and adult clients with a range of mental health problems.Demonstrated innovation in pedagogy, teaching practice, including assessments and curriculum development, especially in the design and delivery of existing and new programs for applied psychology assessment and therapy practice units.Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build an inclusive teaching and learning environment, and work effectively in a team environment.Evidence of successful delivery to diverse student cohorts and creating a superior student experience characterised by strong engagement at the postgraduate and undergraduate levels.Demonstrated strong track record in research, relative to opportunity, including research grants and peer-reviewed publications.Evidence of quality research supervision including Honours.Research track record that is compatible with the research strengths of staff within the School of Psychological Sciences at Macquarie University.Please note: Applications for this position are only being accepted from Australian citizens, permanent residents and those currently residing in Australia with full working rights.
