Continuing, full time appointmentTeaching Focused Academic Level A Salary – up to $109,071 p.a.Plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leaveAlice Springs Campus, NTApply your passion and experience for Electrotechnology to teach CDU TAFE students.About The PositionAs a Lecturer Electrotechnology, you will be responsible for the delivery of training in accordance with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) standards and VET Quality Framework and to the competency standards of the Electrotechnology (UEE) Training Package requirements. You will facilitate competency-based training using a range of delivery modes including face-to-face, mixed-mode, workplace based, external and online delivery.About YouTo be successful, you will require:A TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor or equivalent qualification as outlined by Australian Skills Quality Authority Framework (ASQA).Possess a recognized relevant Electrotechnology Trade qualification and demonstrate extensive relevant workplace post trade experience.Hold a current NT Electrical Licence (or be qualified to be able to obtain).Demonstrated experience providing training either within a workplace setting or educational institution.Experience in researching and developing training tools to meet needs of students and/or industry clients.Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate in a culturally sensitive manner with internal and external stakeholders to whom English may not be the first language.Competency with the Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software packages.To view the responsibilities of the role, please click on the: Position Profile.RemunerationAppointment to this role will be at Teaching Focused Academic Level A. The base salary will be in the range of $72,702 - $109,071 per annum.
