What You'll Need 5+ years of field experience in the Electrical and Electrotechnology industry —whether it's domestic, industrial, commercial, or even mining work. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (40116/40122) and a current electrical license. Minimum requirement to commence will be the Presenter skills set requiring completion of the TAE within twelve months. Unrestricted Electrical Licence. Bonus points if you know your way around PLCs or have a knack for online teaching tools like Moodle. What You'll be Doing Teach life-long skills: You will deliver practical training across a range of electrical fields, from fundamentals to advanced skills. Lead hands-on workshops: Show the students how the real pros get the job done! Develop engaging course content: Design and update learning resources aligned with the latest industry trends. Collaborate and Innovate: Together with your colleagues, create innovative programs that speak to every learner—whether they're still in school or stepping into an apprenticeship. Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential. Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required. May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA. A flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential. Eligible to work in Australia. Please refer to the Role Description for all Special Conditions.
