Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Platform Architecture Development: Defining the architectural vision and roadmap for a financial services-grade platform is essential, ensuring compliance with industry regulations such as APRA and PCI DSS.
The design must support multi-product capabilities, enabling seamless onboarding of new products and building scalability into the platform to accommodate future growth, including the ability to offer Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions to other organizations.
Leadership and Team Coordination: Leading architecture discussions and decision forums will be a key part of this role.
Mentoring the team in best practices for financial-grade system architecture, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance, is vital.
Collaboration with stakeholders to align technical architecture with product strategies and market needs is also essential.
Platform Integration and Interoperability: Evaluating, selecting, and integrating SaaS solutions to complement the financial ecosystem, ensuring interoperability with core banking and financial systems, is required.
Technical Oversight and Governance: Establishing and enforcing architectural standards that meet financial services-grade requirements, including rigorous risk assessments and audit trails, is necessary.
