About the teamWithin our Queensland Property practice we have a highly successful leasing practice. The leasing practice works with large institutional landlords specialising in retail and commercial leases across Queensland and New South Wales.
The team is led by a Leasing Partner and Leasing Executive who are both passionate about fostering a collaborative and supportive culture, with a focus on ensuring that all team members meet their personal and business development goals. About the roleWe are seeking a motivated and detailed oriented junior Leasing Administration Assistant with a genuine interest in developing a career within the property and leasing department. This position will work alongside other legal assistants to provide support to a team of lawyers and paralegals engaged in high quality and high-volume leasing work.
Day to day you can expect to undertake the following duties:
Supporting the leasing team with administration tasks, including but not limited to filing, data entry and managing correspondence;Management of incoming and outgoing mail;Responsible for assisting with reviewing execution of lease documents;Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of lease details in the leasing management system;Database management;Opening, closing and maintaining files;Registering and stamping leases;Liaising with internal clients and other relevant stakeholders regarding lease enquiries and administrative matters;Assisting in the preparation of correspondence and various documents;Editing documents in markup and maintaining version control;Invoicing and assisting the team with end of month billing;Scanning and photocopying;General administrative support to the team.This is an excellent opportunity for an early career professional to provide essential support to our busy leasing practice while developing their professional skills in a supportive environment.
