We are currently looking for someone to join our housing team in Orange as the Leasehold/Housing Officer. This is a parental leave cover contract until October 2025. Responsibilities will include:
Building and managing our Leaseholds portfolio in Orange;Building strong relationships with the local real estate market;Ensuring targets are achieved; andManaging all tenancies within the Leaseholds portfolio including sign-ups, inspections, and maintenance.To be successful, ideally you will have experience in real estate, with intermediate IT skills, strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. This is a fast-paced role, so you must also be highly organised and energetic.
Experience working with vulnerable client groups, an understanding of the needs of people on low incomes, and a desire to make a difference in our community will be highly regarded.
You will also need a current drivers licence, ability to obtain a Police Check and Working With Children Check.

This is a full-time contract position working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The Leasehold/Housing Officer is classified as a Level 4.1 under the SCHADS Award, which equates to $85,355 gross per annum. This will increase on an annual basis in line with the pay points in the Award.
