I am partnered with Australia's largest IPP who operate and own their renewable energy assets amongst Australia. My client is looking for a Senior Energy Lawyer to join the in-house team where you will work closely with the legal team and report to the General Manager - Legal.
As a Senior Energy Lawyer, you will bring legal expertise from working within the Renewable Energy sector where you will provide lead legal support, negotiation, and drafting with respect to multiple renewable energy projects agreements related to development, construction, and/or operations.
What you need: 8+ years post admission experience in private practice or in-house in the Energy Sector.Experience drafting and negotiating project development, construction, and operations contracts for energy projects.Experience advising on gas projects, operations, FSRU or LNG shipping, or LNG or gas sales agreements, or similar matters (relevant to our Port Kembla Energy Terminal).Experience drafting and negotiating project contracts for renewable energy projects or gas projects.Skills: Outstanding drafting and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills.High level negotiation and influencing skills.Excellent stakeholder management skills.High-level organization skills including well-developed priority-setting skills and the ability to meet deadlines.Leadership skills.If this sounds of interest, please send your resume to ****** and I will be in touch.
